Huagu Qiyuan Tourist Scenic Area is located in Huahai Town, Jintan Maoshan Tourist Resort, Jiangsu Province. The garden covers a total area of more than 1000 acres. In September 2018, Huagu Qiyuan Tourist Scenic Area was officially approved as a national AAAA level scenic area.

 

The scenic area combines modern gardening with traditional garden culture to create the largest and most distinctive flower themed tourist destination in East China, focusing on natural sightseeing, garden appreciation, plant science popularization, and leisure vacation. Since its opening, the park has received 3.5 million visitors from China and abroad.

Relying on the abundant natural landscape environment of Maoshan and drawing on the design essence of world-renowned art gardens, we have ingeniously created twelve characteristic boutique gardens including Dutch Garden, Flower God Garden, Rose Garden, Hydrangea Garden, Rhododendron Garden, French Garden, Flower Exhibition Garden, Lollipop Garden, Chishan Garden, Purple Garden, Cute Pet Garden, Children's Garden, and a large native flower sea and half mountain flower field.

 

The scenic area is full of flowers all year round, with flowers blooming every month. Create a two season five flower exhibition based on different flowering periods. In spring, you can stroll in the garden to watch tulip and rose exhibitions. In early summer, you can wander under the black pine forest to watch hydrangea exhibitions. In the cool autumn, you can see lily exhibitions and chrysanthemum exhibitions in various shapes all over the mountains. In the cold winter, you can also come to Flower Valley Qiyuan to watch the Spring Festival flower exhibition and experience the authentic Spring Festival Flower God Temple Fair. The sea of flowers and characteristic flower sceneries in the scenic area in spring and autumn, which are all over the mountains and plains, have good artistic presentation and visual transmission attraction, and are widely spread on the current mainstream short video media such as Tiktok, Xiaohongshu, WeChat video number, etc. Every year, hundreds of thousands of tourists from Changzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai, Anhui and other regions come to enjoy flowers and take photos by punching cards.

 

Huagu Qiyuan is also a pet friendly garden in Maoshan Tourist Resort. Here, tourists can bring pets into the scenic area to enjoy the flowers together. In 2025, the scenic area will actively respond to Changzhou's policy of building a "pet friendly city", focusing on the theme of pet friendliness, and do a good job in the infrastructure and garden renovation of pet friendly gardens, including pet circular trails, pet water supply stations, pet amusement areas, pet themed green sculptures and other pet related renovation projects in the scenic area. At the same time, pet themed activities will be carried out throughout the year in the scenic area to present a harmonious coexistence of humans and pets in nature.

 

Huagu Qiyuan Tourist Scenic Area will continuously improve the quality of its gardens and provide tourists with better services. It is committed to building Huagu Qiyuan into a world-class century old garden from the East.
